Meet Andrew Gordon, Solicitor
Andrew’s broad range of experience includes having lived and worked overseas, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Japan. Andrew worked as a lawyer in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the UAE, advising companies on a wide range of legal issues from options for setting up a business in the UAE to property projects, employment and commercial contracts as well as dispute resolution.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Andrew has more than 15 years’ experience in international trade. This experience includes more than 10 years advising hundreds of Australian companies in the development of export markets for their goods and services. In this role, Andrew provided assistance and direction with international market research, business planning, export pricing, freight and logistics, commercial negotiations, risks and legal considerations, finance and budgeting.
Andrew has worked in a wide variety of industries with hundreds of clients, both in Australia and overseas including; IT software, engineering services, food and beverages, rail rollingstock, mining, power generation, oil and gas, professional services, marine, and building products.
Andrew’s legal advice incorporates a valuable and rare depth of commercial experience that SME’s and corporates appreciate. Additionally he genuinely enjoys developing an understanding of his clients businesses through a close working relationship.
