Chris enjoys getting to know her clients and being able to make a tangible difference to their effectiveness, whether in their investments, their business or the workplace. Her areas of expertise include employment law, commercial agreements, and commercial property and leasing.
Basically, Chris can turn her hand to most things and is formidably efficient, yet friendly and approachable - we think you’ll agree it’s a winning combination.
Chris has worked for many years as a solicitor, initially in commercial and then criminal litigation. She then diversified from legal practice and gained valuable business experience as a management consultant for a global process consulting organisation, and in a start-up property development business. Since returning to the law in 2010 Chris has built on her legal and commercial background, and brings her significant experience to bear on her clients’ employment- and business-related challenges.
Chris enjoys the flexibility of part-time work as it provides intellectual stimulation while still allowing her to be available to her family. When she is not working you won’t often find her at home: she loves bushwalking, bike-riding and lots of travel. Chris is our resident intrepid explorer; her idea of a relaxing holiday is camping for weeks in the middle of nowhere, or going jungle in exotic locations – all with family in tow.
